Listen and listen again. We believe this is the key to a successful search. We are in a dynamic people business where change will happen, and we dedicate the time to ensure that we are listening and hearing.

Create time to think through what we want to accomplish. This is an essential part of success in the search process. Often clients do not allow enough time to consider the must-have vs. nice-to-have requirements for their search resulting in a poorly designed and calibrated process. Our process includes dedicating time to think through the challenges and questions.

Be courteous, courageous, and transparent. Searches are often disruptive and evolutionary and may trigger events, circumstances, and timelines. We believe a search partner should offer sound and transparent advice to de-risk searches. We offer advice and perspective backed by data. We are professional and responsive, but you can also expect complete transparency, which sometimes may be tough to hear. We are also quick to admit when we're wrong.

References and Closing Evaluations. No one can meet a candidate for an hour and assess their competence and fit for each role, so we rely on industry references to help us determine fit. Offer Stage: We think it’s silly to make an offer to a candidate who is not ready to accept it, and we understand there’s an extra amount of work required to ensure this doesn’t happen. We invest the time to fully understand each candidate’s career trajectory and family situation to ensure compensation issues are not a show-stopper.
